The girl's first day of school was Jan. 10th and they were so excited! They did so good putting their coats and backpacks away and getting started. They didn't even look back. It helps that they not only had eachother but they had their 3 cousins with them in the same class. I was quite surprised at how well I did by not crying! I did get a little choked up the rest of the week when we would pick them up. Watching them walk down the ramp anxious to show us what they made in class just made me so proud of what good, smart girls we have.
I hope they continue to be this excited for school and it is my personal goal to make sure it stays that way.

Are you guys year round school?
Nope. There are school districts here that do year round but Mesa Schools don't. I think it's sad for kids to not have a full summer break.
