Baptism Day
During our trip to Johnstown, we decided to have our girls baptized along with all our other nieces. (Except Jaden she was already baptized) It was kind of last minute and right after the shower Dave's mom and sisters had for me. So I had very little time to find dresses for the girls and in Johnstown there is pretty much one store to look in. Luckily, they had two dresses the size and style I liked. It was pretty hectic and crazy with 7 girls besing baptized at the same time. Not being Catholic it was an interesting ceremony to be a part of.
Blessing Day
The day my girls were blessed, my parents church started in the morning. Being that we were already up in the mornings I thought everything would go relatively smooth. We got up, got showered, got dressed, fed the girls and got them dressed. I decided to put their dresses on when we got to church because Gracie had a little spit up problem and I didn't want it all over her dress. So we're running a little late but not too bad considering we have twins, but most of all my husband has no concept of time. Anyway, as we pull into the parking lot I discover that I left the dresses on the couch. They were the same dresses we had them baptized in and I really wanted to use the same dresses. However, we didn't feel we had enough to run home to get the dresses and they just had a onsie on so Dave ran to Walmart and picked out these dresses all by himself.
My dad blessed both girls and he did a wonderful job.
(So did Sadie and Grace)
