I thought it would take a lot longer than a couple of weeks but she's got the idea! She's far from being allowed or able to go off on her own. What she does at this point is keep her head above the water. There's not really any forward motion yet. Still, I'm a proud momma. I'm working on teaching her to swim to the wall or steps. Just in case she were to fall in without her floaties she knows to swim for the wall.

nothin but floaties. Although last year we had them in those swim suits that had the life vest built in and those seem to really help with balance.
