Rock N Rolla

The view from our hotel room. We were on the 21st floor. The elevator rides were not fun. Dave got sick from all the stopping and going from picking people up on the way down and dropping people off on the way up.

Okay... to explain why I have these guys on my blog. Dave, Jimmy, Alethea and I all went to San Diego for Comic Con. This is something that Dave has done long since he met me. He even left the day after we got home from the hospital with the girls to go. It's a money making venture for Dave and he loves to do it. I liked hanging out in Hall H where they do these movie panels where the cast of a movie will come out and answer questions. Then they usually show a couple of scenes from the movie that no one has seen before. These guys were here to promote Guy Ritchie's (Madonna's hubby) new move "RocknRolla". Gerard Butler is my favorite down at the bottom. His breakthrough roll was a little movie called "Phantom of the Opera" as the Phantom. He's since been in "300", "P.S. I love you" and "Nim's Island". This movie is an action film and I can't wait for it. Ludacris & Jeremy Piven

Gerard Butler!

Okay so I am confused. I thought Dave worked for Chevy selling cars. Is that right or wrong? And so for RocknRolla does he work for them too promoting movies? And did you meet these People?!

Mary...
Dave does work for Chevy and I wish he was into promoting movies but sadly it's just a labor of love. I also wish I had met these people but instead, watched as they discussed and answered questions regarding the movie. Google Comic Con and you'll see what the convention is all about. It's actually pretty neat and you get all kinds of free stuff including seeing movies that haven't even come out yet. My husband and I are movie buffs, it's what brought us together. So while it is for fun we make a ton of money selling the stuff we get on ebay. We keep some stuff as well. This year we left the girls with my mom to go so we wouldn't have to worry. We took them last year and it was too crowded and they're just too young.
I hope that answers your question. Sorry it took so long.
